Industrial Inkjet Ltd UK (IIJ), a manufacturer of custom digital print engines, development tools, kits and equipment based on Konica Minolta inkjet printheads, and has announced the creation of a US-based subsidiary.  The new corporation will do business as Industrial Inkjet Ltd USA and will be located in Golden, Colorado at the foot of the Rocky Mountains.

IIJ has staffed respected experts in inkjet system engineering, manufacturing and service in the North American markets for several years but this move will allow customers to do business directly with a US based company.  The new US division is a significant step to providing the very best in sales, service and support directly to customers located in the Americas by allowing customers to work with a US company during the US workday and purchase in US dollars.  The newly appointed president, Graham Vlcek, will head up the company operations and will be filling out the team in the coming months.

The new office has been setup as an ideal space for training and client demonstrations and is conveniently located in Golden, Colorado, a western suburb of Denver. Denver International Airport is a major hub for domestic travel being positioned directly in the middle of the western states and is an easy 40-minute drive from the office.

IIJ Managing Director John Corrall expresses the company’s commitment to the North American markets and clients, “It makes perfect sense for us to establish the US corporation to provide local support and services to our growing North American activity. As we expand our operations in the US, we have a huge amount of investment and activity planned in North America. Our objective is that customers and partners will find it more simple and beneficial doing business with IIJ. “

“The US team will leverage the extensive capabilities and services in the UK; inkjet systems, product design, process development, ink R&D, etc., as we establish similar capabilities here,” says Graham Vlcek. He adds, “We are pursuing the wide variety of applications, including packaging, labels, product decoration and security printing to name a few, that IIJ with Konica Minolta’s inkjet printhead technology, has been so successful providing solutions for.”

The US division is actively doing business at the new location and welcomes visitors.
